Once a quest is posted in the Open Quests board, it is available to be claimed. At the top of the quest thread, the number of people allowed to claim it will be posted. Some can only have one claimer, others are open for more, and some are unlimited. Claiming is first-come-first-serve. In order to claim a thread, all you have to do is comment "Claim," with the name of your character who wishes to claim it. Dude
Once you claim a quest, it will be moved over to the Claimed Quests board. The title of the thread will have your name on it, along with the title of the quest. From that date, you will have exactly one month to write out, or RP out, the story for that quest. RPing it is NOT mandatory, but only ONE prize will be given out. The character who claimed it is the one who will receive the prize, and they can do whatever they want with it from there.
If the month expires, and you haven't completed the quest yet, there are a couple options. If it has been more then 1 week since you last posted, you will get a PM notifying you that your quest has expired. You will have three days to respond. If no response is received, the quest will be opened back up and be free to be claimed.
If you respond within the three days, a one-time, two week extension will be given. If it is not completed by then, then it will be re-opened for claiming.
